New Delhi: Situated in Southeast Asia, Thailand is mainly a Buddhist country. The country has been something of a Southeast Asian migratory, cultural, and religious crossroads. It offers over 1,000 miles of coastline of white sandy beaches, bays and coves, with many beach and island activities for people of all ages.

Tourists can experience a revitalising Thai massage in the ‘heavenly land of spas’ or go shopping in one of Thailand’s upscale shopping malls, high street shops, bustling markets, and back street stalls. Keeping the popularity of the place in mind, the IRCTC has introduced a tour package of Thailand.

Features of the tour

  • The name of the tour is ‘Sparkling Thailand Ex Lucknow’ and the places that will be covered are Pattaya, and Bangkok, the two most popular places in the country.
  • The duration of the tour is five nights and six days, and it will start on December 8, 2023, and end on December 13, 2023.
  • The total number of people who can go on this tour is 35.

The cost of the package

  • Package cost per person (Single Sharing): Rs 69,800.
  • Package cost per person (DBL Sharing): Rs 60,300.
  • Package cost per person (Triple Sharing): Rs 60,300.
  • Package cost per person (child with bed) 5 to 11 years: Rs 55,200.
  • Package cost per person (child without bed) 2 to 11 years: Rs 51,000.

The itinerary of the tour

  • Day 1: The tourists will board the flight from Lucknow International Airport at 11:05 p.m.
  • Day 2: After arriving in Thailand, the tourists will proceed to Pattaya and check in at a hotel. After having breakfast, they will proceed to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and in the evening proceed to Alcazar Show. They will have dinner at an Indian restaurant and will spend the night at Pattaya.
  • Day 3: The tourists will go to Coral Island by boat through the sparkling aqua-blue water of the Gulf of Thailand. Then they will have lunch at an Indian restaurant and then go to the hotel. They can spend the evening on their own.
  • Day 4: They will leave the hotel and visit Gems Galler. There will be a half-day city tour of Bangkok (Marble Budhha and Golden Budhha). In the evening, they will go to Chaophraya Cruise followed by dinner. They will spend the night in Bangkok.
  • Day 5: The tourists will go to Marine Park in the Safari World and will have lunch there.
  • Day 6: After lunch, the tourists will visit SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World and then go to the airport to board the flight at 8:10 p.m. for Lucknow.
