REENACTMENTS

Vincennes celebrates history with reenactments all year long!

Feb. 24th reenactors will relive the last leg of the George Rogers Clark march on Fort Sackville, reading passages of Clark’s journals.

April 6-7th the Indiana Military Museum will host a World War I reenactment followed by WWII reenactments May 4-5 and Aug. 31-Sept. 1.

May 25-26th Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous reenactment offers the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of the 18th century US Revolutionary War.

Lastly, Indiana Military Museum will host a Vietnam War reenactment in July. (TBD)

THE DARK SIDE OF THE WABASH ECLIPSE FESTIVAL

The Dark Side of the Wabash eclipse festival will lead up to April 8th with family events, a Wedding Palooza for people who want to marry or renew vows during the eclipse, vendor fairs and a music festival with Think Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band.
