I Flew To Disney World From Toronto For 3 Days & Here's My Itinerary For All 4 Parks

I recently traded the snowy streets of Toronto for the sun-filled parks at Orlando's Disney World and it was nothing short of magical. As a first-time visitor, I wanted to squeeze every drop of Disney into my short vacation, and you better believe I saw all four parks in just three days.

There is so much to see and do at Disney World and it can be tricky to know where to start. If you've got a vacay coming up and are wondering how to fit all the magic in, I've got you covered.

Grab your Mickey Mouse ears, throw on your themed tee and get ready for three days of fun in the "Most Magical Place on Earth."

Day 1

Morning

Peace out, Canada! The first day of my Disney adventure began with a flight from Toronto Pearson Airport to Orlando.

Direct flights between Toronto and Orlando are about three hours long, making it easy to hop on a plane in the morning and be living your best life at Disney World by the afternoon.

Afternoon

After a few delays, I made it to sunny Orlando and took a shuttle to the Art of Animation Resort where I would be staying. The Disney Resort hotels offer complimentary, air-conditioned bus service to the parks, so it was super easy to make my way over to Magic Kingdom after dropping off my luggage.

I was totally blown away by Magic Kingdom and the iconic Main Street, so I spent some time soaking it all up, snapping photos and exploring the shops.

Evening

I was just in time for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. If you have a sweet tooth like me, you'll want to book this sugar-filled extravaganza.

The experience includes a buffet brimming with treats and boozy drinks for guests ages 21 and over.

Full of tarts, cookies and more, I headed to Cinderella's Castle for the nightly Happily Ever After fireworks show. You definitely don't want to miss out on this event, which lights up the park with bursts of colour and iconic Disney songs.

After the show, it was time to check out some rides and attractions. It turns out that the evening was a great time to explore the park as there were a lot less crowds.

I was able to get on rides like Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jungle Cruise without waiting at all.

Day 2

Morning

One perk of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is that you get 30-minute early entry into Walt Disney World theme parks every day. I got up bright and early and made my way to EPCOT, excited to explore a new realm of Disney World.

Breakfast was top priority and I indulged in Mickey waffles, grilled steak, skillet potatoes and more at the Garden Grill Restaurant. I even got to meet characters like Chip and Pluto.

Once I was fuelled for the day, I checked out the new attraction Journey of Water, inspired by Moana. This is a fun spot for younger visitors, especially with the interactive water elements.

I spent the rest of the morning enjoying the rides around World Celebration and World Discovery. I had Genie+ Lightning Lane passes too, which enabled me to skip the line and made the wait times much shorter. I would recommend this add-on if you have limited time in the parks so you aren't spending too much time standing in lines.

Afternoon

For lunch, I jetted into the galaxies at the Space 220 Restaurant. The venue is a really unique spot, especially if you're looking for an out-of-this-world dining experience. You'll travel into outer space and enjoy your meal while gazing over planet Earth. The themed drinks and cocktails were a fun edition to the feast.

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride was one of my most anticipated events of the day and it lived up to the hype. The ride is so popular you have to reserve a time slot in the virtual queue before going. It's worth the wait!

In the late afternoon, I made my way to World Showcase. There were so many different regions to explore and more coffee was needed. I grabbed a Kristoff Kaffe from Kringla Bakeri og Kafé — if you have a sweet tooth, you'll want to try this drink!

Evening

World Showcase has so much to see and do and I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening visiting Italy, Norway, France and more. I also got a few more rides in, such as Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.

After grabbing a quick bite to eat, I headed over to World Showcase Lagoon and saw the new EPCOT fireworks show, Luminous The Symphony of Us. The colourful explosions over the water and epic music added a whole new level of magic to the evening.

Day 3

Morning

It was my final day at Disney and I had two parks left to explore. My first stop was Animal Kingdom and I suddenly found myself immersed in a jungle-like realm.

I fuelled up with some breakfast and then embarked on an open-air safari tour at Kilimanjaro Safaris. It was incredible to see animals like lions, giraffes and hippos up close.

I checked out a few other attractions like the thrilling Expedition Everest rollercoaster and treated myself to a Yeti Sundae at Anandapur Ice Cream Truck.

Afternoon

The biggest highlight of the day was stepping into the enchanted Pandora – The World of Avatar. I was amazed by the sheer size of the area and felt like I had travelled right into the film.

The Avatar Flight of Passage ride had a long wait but it was definitely worth it. The immersive experience lets you ride a banshee around Pandora and it was one of my top experiences of the trip.

After a mid-afternoon Mickey pretzel snack, I got on a bus and headed over to the final park, Hollywood Studios. I wandered around and took in the sights, including the larger-than-life Toy Story Land.

Evening

I got in a few rides before dinner, at which time I visited the Toy Story-themed Roundup Rodeo BBQ. You'll want to bring your appetite to this spot, which serves up all-you-can-eat ribs, brisket and more.

Once I got my BBQ fix, I took a ride on the popular Slinky Dog Dash Roller Coaster and then explored the Star Wars attractions. I also took this time to grab some Disney souvenirs which was, of course, top priority on my final night of the trip.

I had planned on seeing the Fantasmic! show, but after three days of Disney, I was pretty exhausted. I called it a night and went back to the resort to pack for my flight and drift off to Disney dreamland.

Disney World offered Madeline Forsyth the opportunity to visit the four Disney parks with no expectation of coverage, positive or otherwise.
