Wilder Days in Mansfield Begins Tomorrow, September 22nd, Itinerary Released

Mansfield, MO. – An event to celebrate author Laura Ingalls Wilder and the history of the area starts tomorrow in Mansfield, MO. Wilder was the author of the famous “Little House on the Prairie” series of books, which eventually spawned the successful TV series that started in 1974.

The star power that will appear at this years’ Wilder Days event is Patrick Labyorteaux, who played Andrew Garvey on the Little House television series. He will be available to speak with and sign autographs inside the museum, but museum admission will be required.

The festival officially begins at noon tomorrow, and will continue until late Saturday evening. The parade this year will take place at 1pm, with guest star Patrick Labyorteaux performing the duties of the Parade Marshall.

Expect the Fiddle-Off competition to make a return this year, beginning at 9:30am on Saturday.
