Day 1 Itinerary: Beaches And Forts Of North Goa

Make sure to visit Anjuna Beach first thing in the morning. Savour the tranquil morning ambiance and consider engaging in some yoga by the shore. Next, enjoy some breakfast at one of the shacks or cafes along the Beach. Because what is better than a wholesome meal by the beach? It is really the best way to start the day and will set the tone for the rest of the trip.

Afternoon:

Once you’re full and relaxed, treat the beach baby in you with some change and make your way to Vagator Beach. Take in the expansive views of the coastline by exploring the quaint Chapora Fort. After enjoying the gorgeous view, head back to the beach and indulge in some yummy seafood and some beers at a shack.

If you feel like exploring another beach after lunch, Calangute Beach is the right choice. Here, you can either relax and wait for a beautiful sunset view, enjoy some water sports or explore the local market nearby. No matter what you decide to do, it will surely be fun.

Evening:

Your first night in Goa has to end with a vibrant party and North Goa certainly offers a lot of options. From the iconic Thalassa to Antares and Purple Martini, you can choose from the many places dishing out the yummiest food and serving the vibe you came for.

Day 2 Itinerary: Heritage And Culture Of Central Goa

Your second day in Goa must be all about the culture the city offers and truly, there will be a lot for you to explore. You must start by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also explore Sé Cathedral and St. Augustine Tower, some of the most iconic buildings in the city. If you are a profound lover of art, head to the Museum of Christian Art to delve into Goa’s rich Christian heritage. To beat the hunger pangs you will certainly have by then, have lunch at Gunpowder, a popular restaurant in Assagao.

Afternoon:

To completely satiate your hunger for heritage as well, visit the Archaeological Museum and the Church of St. Cajetan after lunch. Next, you can also explore Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Panjim, known for its vibrant colours and Portuguese architecture. Before ending the day, take a cruise on the Mandovi River and enjoy the most beautiful sunset view. 

Evening:

Day 3 Itinerary: Adventure And Nature At Dudhsagar Waterfalls

Morning:

The third day is a good time to visit Dudhsagar Waterfalls if you want to get away from the beaches but still spend time in nature. To reach there, you can choose between a jeep safari, a trek, or both. To make this visit more special, pack a picnic lunch to enjoy near the falls.

Afternoon:

If you trekked to the waterfall in the morning, you will most likely be worn down. If so, you can head back to your hotel and relax. However, if you wish to explore more, you must check out the spice plantations as well. 

Evening:

Day 4 Itinerary: Relax At The Beaches Of South Goa

On the next day, check out of your accommodation in North Goa and make your way to South Goa. A whole new world of colour and culture will be waiting for you here. Once you are here, relax at Palolem Beach and indulge in some water activities. Afternoon:

Evening:
