The events of CTRL-U take place in Factory 42 – a company owned by Tech.no that produces means of autonomous protection of private property (barriers, turrets, cameras, booby traps, etc.).

Factory 42 was completely automated. Players take on the role of an advanced android KY-13 (also known as Kyle), capable of quickly reaching any part of the facility and solving unforeseen problems.

“But what happens if the problem spreads throughout the plant? Join Kyle on his mission, uncover the secrets of Factory 42 and experience changes that force a simple worker android to change and allow him to confront deep moral dilemmas.reads the game description.

The KY-13’s right arm features a modular component for attaching tools and even weapons (to eliminate them in the way), and built-in functions allow you to jump, run over walls and overcome dizzying obstacles.

You can’t stop – the energy to fire shots is only restored when running. They promise an extensive arsenal and realistic lighting. So far only English and Italian have been announced.

CTRL-U is created for steam and has no release date. The authors seem to be inspired by Mirror’s Edge (parkour with shooter elements, minimalist visual style), Portal (a dirty trick company) and The Talos Principle (a conscious robot).
