If you have been wanting to visit Iran but didn’t want to get into the fuss of getting your visa approved, we have some good news for you! Effective February 4, 2024, Indians are not required to have a visa to visit Iran, however, there are some conditions. Let us know about these conditions through this article. Indians Can Now Visit Iran Without Visa

A visa-waiver programme for Indians visiting the country for tourism was recently announced by Iran. This is applicable for those planning for a maximum of 15 days visit, subject to these conditions:

  • Once every six months, Indians holding ordinary passports can visit Iran for a non-extendable maximum stay of 15 days.
  • This policy only applies to the Indians entering Iran for tourism purposes only.
  • It is mandatory to get a visa for individuals who wish to stay for a longer period or make multiple entries within a six-month period.
  • This policy is primarily meant for Indians entering Iran by air (Cheap Flight Tickets Hacks).

8-Day Itinerary To Explore Iran

  • Golestan Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site is a must-visit destination located in Tehran.
  • After that, you can visit Tehran's Grand Bazaar for shopping and local experiences, or take a stroll in Mellat Park.
  • Catch a domestic flight or a high-speed train to go from Tehran to Isfahan and visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square, one of the largest mosques in the world.
