New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh has some of the most amazing historical places and wildlife sanctuaries in India. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation or IRCTC has it popularly known has decided to organise a tour for those interested in visiting Madhya Pradesh. So if you are curious about this journey, then this article is the perfect thing for you.

What is the package?

  • The name of the package is ‘Indore Ujjain Mandu’ and the places in Madhya Pradesh which will be covered during the course of the tour are Indore, Ujjain, Omkareshwar and Mandu.
  • The journey will begin from Delhi. While the first tour will take place on December 19, 2023, the second tour will begin on January 24, 2024.
  • The duration of the journey is four nights and five days and a maximum of 30 people can go.

What is the cost per person?

  • For one person, the cost is Rs 34,220.
  • For two people, the cost per person is Rs 28,250.
  • For three people. the cost is Rs 27,210.
  • If there is a child aged between 5 to 11 years and needs a bed, then the cost is Rs 25,150. Without a bed, the cost is Rs 22,950.

What is the itinerary?

  • Day 1: The tourists will depart from Delhi by flight at 9:10 a.m. and arrive at the Indore Airport at 10:25 a.m. From there, they will go to Ujjain. In the evening, they can visit Mahakaleshwar and Kal Bhairav Temples on their own.
  • Day 2: They can visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple for Bhasm Aarti. Then they will go to Indore and visit the tallest statue of Lord Hanuman at Pitra Parvat and Rajwada Palace on the way. After reaching Indore, the tourists can opt to visit the Sarafa Bazar in the evening.
  • Day 3: The tourists will visit the Omkareshwar Temple and then visit the town of Maheshwar. They can explore the beautiful riverside temples and visit the Rehwa Society to see the weaving process of Maheswari sarees if time permits.
  • Day 4: The tourists will go to Mandu and stop at Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Society on the way. After reaching Mandu, they will visit the Jahaz Mahal, Bahadur’s Palace and Rani Roopmati Pavilion. Then, they will come back to Indore.
  • Day 5: They will leave the hotel after lunch and go to the airport to board the flight to Delhi.
