New Delhi: Nepal is a country with some amazing temples, architecture and natural magnificence in abundance. It has a diverse geography that includes plains that are fertile and hills that are forested. Also, the country has eight of the world’s ten tallest mountains, with Mount Everest, Earth’s highest point, being the crowning glory. It is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious and multi-cultural nation.

For these reasons, Nepal is extremely popular among tourists, and that is why, the IRCTC has introduced a tour package to enable people to visit and experience the many enchanting things the country has to offer. In this article, we will tell you more about the package.

Features of the tour package

  • The name of the package is ‘Naturally Nepal’ and the destinations that will be covered are Kathmandu and Pokhara.
  • The journey will take place from Bhopal and the duration of the tour is five nights and six days.
  • The tour will take place from February 19, 2024, to February 24, 2024, and a maximum of 30 people can go.

The cost of the package

    • Adult on single sharing: Rs 55,100.
    • Adult on double sharing: Rs 47,000.
    • Adult on triple sharing: Rs 46,200.
    • Child with bed (5 to 11 years): Rs 44,600.
    • Child without bed (5 to 11 years): Rs 43,400.
    • Child without bed (2 to 4 years): Rs 32,000.

The itinerary of the tour

    • Day 1: The tourists will depart by scheduled connecting flight to Kathmandu via Delhi. After arriving in Kathmandu, they will check into a hotel.
    • Day 2: They will explore the architectural grandeur of the Pashupatinath Temple, visit the Boudhanath Stupa and then proceed towards Patan. They will also visit Durbar Square, the Tibetan Refugee Centre and lastly the Swayambhunath Stupa.
    • Day 3: The tourists will go to Pokhara and visit the Manakamana Temple on the way.
    • Day 4: Early morning excursion to Surangkot to view the Himalayas at sunrise. Then the tourists will proceed towards Bindhyabasini Temple. Later, they will visit Devil’s Fall and Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave.
    • Day 5: The tourists will come back to Kathmandu and after arriving, spend the day at the hotel.
    • Day 6: The tourists will leave the hotel and go to Kathmandu Airport to catch the scheduled flight to Bhopal via Delhi.
