Holland America Line released its 2025-26 South America and Antarctica itineraries for booking this week, a selection of departures that offer visits to sixteen UNESCO World Heritage Sites and UNESCO Biosphere Reserves.

During November 2025 to March 2026, the Oosterdam will be sailing cruises between San Antonio (Santiago), Chile and either Buenos Aires, Argentina or Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Along the way, the selection of itineraries visit destinations like Iguazu Falls, Machu Picchu, Torres del Paine National Park and Antarctica.

Itineraries range from 14 days to 31 days. One special 31-day back-to-back cruise option combines two cruises into one longer Collector’s Voyage cruise. This back-to-back cruise option combines the “Panama Canal and Inca Discovery” itinerary with the “South America Passage” itinerary.

Across the itineraries, travelers will have the opportunity to discover some of the region’s most important cultural, historical and ecological landmarks, like Old Panama, Cusco, the Nazca Lines, Valparaiso, Torres del Paine National Park, Alberto de Agostini National Park, Cape Horn, Los Glaciares National Park, the Galapagos Islands, Chan Chan Archaeological Zone, Valdes Peninsula, Lima, Colonia del Sacramento and Iguazu National Park.

"South America is a vibrant region that offers contrasting experiences within one cruise, sailing from the tropics to glaciers and busy cities to some of the most remote places in the world," said Dan Rough, vice president, revenue management, Holland America Line.

"Our mid-sized ships make it possible to craft itineraries that feature an exciting collection of South American ports; and our menus, enrichment and entertainment on board ensure guests come away feeling deeply connected to the places they visited," Rough continued.
