Get into the working class vibe at Yaowarat’s Bamee Jubkang

The term “jub kang” means “labourer” and “bamee” means “noodles.” So, bamee jubkang features noodles with a portion big enough to satisfy anyone who is hard at work, with prices friendly enough for almost anyone walking by. It’s so old and local that the restaurant doesn’t even have a name, until people gave it one.

There’s nothing more working class than this, so maybe David would get to understand Victoria’s working class childhood just a little bit better as he arrives in a Rolls-Royce.

Mentor the aspiring chefs at The Food School Bangkok

It’s a fact that David Beckham has always been a foodie. It’s revealed in his Netflix series Beckham that he spends his weekends cooking in his BBQ tent. That tent happens to have a 12-seat table, a giant top-shelf grill, and costs over THB 2 million.

We’re sure he could give the young, aspiring chefs at The Food School Bangkok a few pointers. Plus, who would say no to be in the same room as David Beckham grilling his meats?

Feel the British spirit with a pint and Fireball shots at The Old English

Did you know that David Beckham has revealed his favourite food to be baked beans and pineapple in one plate? Maybe with a pint and a couple of shots of Fireball, that dish could taste good for us, too. So, we think The Old English is a great British pub to be at, for grabbing a pint, and enjoying great food from their kitchen.

Take a tour of Damnoen Saduak Floating Market for souvenirs to take back to his mansion

It’s common to see tourists bringing little handmade trinkets from the local community to their homes abroad, and we see the reasons. It’s a keepsake for your trip, it doesn’t cost much, and it supports the local community. Seeing how big of a philanthropist David Beckham is, we don’t think he’ll resist buying one or two items to take home. A floating market such as Damnoen Saduak or Amphawa is perfect for that aspect.

Dance with Victoria to live jazz at Firefly Bar

A scene in Beckham depicts Victoria dancing to Dolly Parton’s ‘Islands in the Stream,’ which prompted David to join her without a single word. It melted the hearts of audiences globally, and spawned The Beckham Challenge. To celebrate a love that sweet, the live jazz at Firefly Bar is perfect for it, and we know David loves a good drink.
